WHY DO I TEACH OVER 4 WEEKS?

The birthing programme I teach requires a great understanding of knowing how your brain works to help prepare you for the most positive outcome possible, no matter what path your birthing takes. To put it simply, you have to learn to unlearn what you have already learnt, and this requires practice, repetition and homework. I really cannot stress this enough! You have to be fully committed to wanting to come and see me week after week to get the most out of your antenatal education.

A crash course is great for some, I know time can be a difficult thing to put aside these days, but returning to my classes for 4 consecutive weeks means you:

Have plenty of time between each session to digest and absorb the course content well.
Re-read over anything (as many times as you like!) that requires extra focus from yourself or your birth partner(s).
7 days in between each session to call, email or meet up to discuss any concerns you may have at no additional cost.
The first week to get into a comfortable pattern with your affirmations and first hypnosis script.
Coming back to see me for 3 additional sessions ensures your homework is complete, as I will be asking and wanting to see it/hear it! As I said, this course requires your full attention and commitment.
And lastly, you get to come back and be amongst your fellow pregnant class members again. The perfect way to make friends before your baby arrives!

I have to say, when I took hypnobirthing, antenatal classes all those years ago, it was a really special part of our week, those Thursday nights. We would always drive home feeling so relaxed and informed and our conversations week after week were just full of excitement and positivity about the upcoming birth of our baby. We were 100% dedicated to achieving a positive birth experience.

It is so important to me to get it right for you. I want to see you achieve your goals. I want to see your fears falling away week by week. I want to hear your words of ‘Scared’ and ‘Painful’ turn into words of ‘joy’ and ‘excitement.’ I want you to feel as supported as we did.

So, there you have it, in a nutshell, why my classes run over the space of 4 weeks. Our brains need rewiring sometimes, and this takes time. Take time for yourselves.
