WHAT CAUSES MORNING SICKNESS?
Most women will experience some sort of nausea or vomiting in their first trimester, but the name ‘Morning sickness’ is actually very misleading. It can happen any time of day or night, and can feel very slight or can completely take over throughout the whole day, leaving you feeling hungry, thirsty, and exhausted.
Morning sickness is a great sign that your pregnancy hormones are present in the body, and for most women these symptoms pass by 16 weeks of pregnancy.
If, however, you feel you are experiencing severe morning sickness and cannot keep fluids or food down for 24 hours, speak to your medical provider.
Do not suffer in silence.
